Connecting with us

We own the network of lines, cables and pipes that keep the lights on and the gas flowing for homes and businesses across the communities we serve. As these communities grow, we work with you to expand our networks and deliver a safe, reliable energy supply now and into the future.

We're currently experiencing high demand for our new electricity connection service. Thank you for your patience while we work through requests. Your project matters to us, and we're committed to keeping you informed as we progress your work.

Solar power for home and business

If you’re installing solar or another form of electricity generation at your home or business, you’ll need to apply to connect it to our network.

This helps us make sure your system is safely connected, works reliably, and can export excess energy back to the grid where possible.

Pricing

We deliver electricity and gas to your property through our distribution network. The cost of providing this service makes up part of your energy bill.

Your retailer combines several charges into the bill you receive. Each year, we set our prices to cover the cost of operating, maintaining, and investing in the network. These charges are paid to us by your retailer and passed on to you based on how you use the network.
