Current outages
Check the current power outages on our electricity network using our interactive Outage Map. If the power is out at your property, the map shows whether your area is affected, the status of the outage, and, where available, an estimate of when power is likely to be restored.
Report an outage
If your power is out, and it's not shown on our Outage Map, please report it to us now.
Planned outages
To keep our network safe and reliable, we sometimes need to temporarily disconnect electricity for maintenance or upgrades. These planned outages are organised in advance.
If your power will be affected, your retailer (the company you pay your power bill to) will contact you by letter or email. You can also look up your address on our planned outages page for upcoming work in your area.
Understanding power outages
If your outage isn't showing up on our Outage Map, it could be because it's not reported or because the indicated areas on the map are approximate. If you don't see your outage on our map, please report it to us now.
Restoration times can vary depending on the nature of the outage and the area affected. If no restoration time is listed, we’re still assessing the work and we'll provide updates as soon as possible.
