Powerco distributes the electricity and gas that supplies homes, businesses and communities across the regions we serve. We plan, build, maintain and upgrade the infrastructure that delivers energy safely and reliably – now and into the future. It’s a big challenge, and we’re proud to do it.
Our electricity network spans Coromandel to South Waikato, Tauranga and Mt Maunganui, Taranaki, Whanganui, Rangitīkei, Manawatū and Wairarapa. Our gas network supports communities across Taranaki, Horowhenua, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatū, Porirua, Hutt Valley and Wellington.

We’re proud to keep the power on and the gas flowing 99.9% of the time, but if the unexpected happens we’re here 365 days a year to get you reconnected as quickly as we can.
