How to use your heat pump
Heat pumps are super efficient and can save you money on heating costs, but it’s important to know how to use them correctly. Here are some friendly tips to help you make the most of your heat pump.
Getting started
Select the heat setting

Set the fan to auto
- Press the FAN button until you’ve selected the Auto Fan setting.
Choose the right temperature

- Setting it higher makes the heat pump work harder and will increase your power bills. For example, running it at 26°C uses 50% more power than at 21°C.
Optimising air flow
Adjust the air flow- Use the SWING button to direct the airflow down into the room.
- For heating, aim the warm air down across the floor where it will rise and warm the entire room.
- For wall-mounted heat pumps, press the SWING button to stop the flap in the right position to direct air downward.
Using the timer
Set the timer- Use the timer function to turn on the heat pump before you wake up or come home from work.
- This ensures your home is warm when you need it without wasting energy.
Cleaning the filters
